Introduction
Ultrabox is a rather curious creation. It can best be described as a CD Magazine of sorts, similar to the tapes like '16/48' that were available for the ZX Spectrum. Produced by Victor Musical Industries (the people behind Veigues, Toy Shop Boys and The Legendary Axe), it ran for 6 volumes and each volume contains a variety of content ranging from mini games, animated stories, top ten releases and horoscopes. The quality is often rough and unfinished (some of the games look like they took all of half an hour to put together) and most of the content is difficult to fully enjoy without knowledge of Japanese, but they remain an interesting and unique collection for PC Engine fans.
