Comment
I like the concept of Volfied, but I find that the nature of the game puts an upper limit on how fun it can be. When I first played it, I found myself just rushing to fill the screen and that didn't work out too well. Carefully planning your boxes to get the special pods (in the hope of a time-stopper) while dividing the screen evenly soon became the most productive strategy. Volfied's difficulty is its stumbling block though. Once you get above level 6 or 7, it really becomes a problem to avoid the 'boss' craft and minions which almost seems to track you around the screen. This can cause long-term frustration with the game and puts into question its longevity - a password system would have worked wonders. But it can be fun in short bursts if you want something to play for a few minutes at a time.
