Overview
Conversion of Sega's classic arcade racing game. Race against the clock to the finish through a series of branching stages, each with a different ending.
Comment
Out Run is one of the finest arcade racing games ever made, and this conversion is about as good as you could hope for. The graphics are faithfully recreated and the classic arcade tunes are all here, albeit in NEC Avenue style sound (which is decent enough but they really need to learn how to sample drums). The only misgiving is the horrible engine noise, which can thankfully be turned off. It's not a game you would play for hours, but it was never meant to be. Out Run is just pure arcade fun that you can come back to time and time again.
