Overview
A pretty standard one-on-one beat 'em up in the Street Fighter vein, Advanced V.G. features a whole host of cute gals in short skirts. There aren't really any surprises in the gameplay, one button performs a kick and the other a punch, while various joypad movements pull off special moves in the way you would expect. As well as the standard pick-your-character mode, it also features 2 player versus and a story mode with a lengthy dose of nicely drawn visual scenes.
Cheats/Tips
After you complete the game, wait for an extra image.
To fight against Yuka in normal mode: After pushing RUN to start normal mode, immediately start tapping RUN on control pad 2. Select any players from the character select and defeat player 2 to fight against Yuka for the rest of the game.
Play as Keiichi or Kei in vs. mode (requires 6 button controller): When the TGL logo appears, hold UP and press I, III and V on pad 2, then push RUN on pad one. Select Keiichi or Kei from the far left or right of the bottom row.
